Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. To get quotes, the tool only requires six pieces of information: your sex, when you were born, how you'd rate your health, tobacco status, the coverage amount you want, and the policy term. Your name, street address, and medical history stay private—we only ask for those if you decide to apply for coverage.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are the prices each insurance company provides for the health level you selected. The carrier may confirm, upgrade or downgrade your actual class through underwriting, which affects your final cost. The quotes you see are informational estimates and do not constitute an insurance offer or rate guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

After selecting a carrier, you provide your name and advance into a secure form built on carriers' platform, already filled with your answers. The process is flexible—you can exit and return later—and it concludes with your digital signature. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance agency (License 0B75129), processes all applications.

Will I need a medical exam?

It varies by carrier and the coverage you're requesting. Some carriers can give immediate decisions within the underwriting limits; others may recommend a medical exam. Each quote shows whether the underwriting expects an exam, might request one, or doesn't require one.

Is a longer term better?

Your term length should match the duration your household would suffer financially without your earnings: a home mortgage that needs paying, children who need support, or business obligations. Extending the term raises monthly payments but protects longer. The tool lets you compare all options from 10 through 30 years.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote form collects no contact info, we don't purchase or transfer any data, and our analytics uses no cookies. Check the privacy page for a complete breakdown of what information gets captured and who has access.
